Our steel processing facilities come at a fraction of the cost steel majors would normally invest for such facilities. Our technical depth empowers us to take such risks.The assignments we enjoy the most are the ones that are fully turnkey, where the challenge for us is to conceptualize and implement entire processes by being shown only the desired finished product. We are operating several such processing lines for steel strips and pipes, on a build, own, operate basis, inside the premises of our customers.

Warehousing

We have around 1 lac sft of covered warehouses in Kolkata with a further 50,000 sft under construction and around 10 acres of open area. Our covered areas are most modern and suitable for warehousing of white goods, operating printing presses or television studios. Our open yards are suitable for C&F activities or open storing.

Singh Associates was incorporated in 1998 by Sri Mahendra Singh with the primary aim of performing services for steel plants in eastern India. The promoter’s family has representation among the partners of the firm today. The promoters have considerable experience manufacturing steel through the EAF route and this serves them in good stead in understanding the challenges their customers in the steel industry face in their operations.

HR/CR Cut to Length

We have six lines in various premises of Tata Steel and TCIL where we process primes, seconds and scrap pup coils as well as thick plates. Our product profile ranges from HR/CR 0.2 mm to 60 mm thickness and up to 2 meter width. Our lines can handle coils from 200 kgs to 30 MT weight. Lengths of finished sheets/plates range from 5 to 8 metres. Finished sheet bundles are packed and marked for dispatch as per orders. Location–Jamshedpur, Kalinganagar, Gamaria

COIL DIVIDING LINES

We operate a coil dividing line in Tata Steel, Jamshedpur works. This line was built and installed by us for HR coil parting, surface inspection and grinding. It has a capacity of 20,000 MT per month.

COIL EYE CHANGER

Coil eye changer is an innovative solution to reorienting HR coils for loading and stacking on rakes. We operate one line in Tata Steel, Jamshedpur, HSM.

PRECISION TUBE PROCESSING

We operate a comprehensive line for precision TFF tube finishing in Tata Steel, Tube Div. The line undertakes precision cutting, chamfering, bend correction, automatic cleaning and packaging of TFF tubes. This line was installed by us and uses premier equipment sourced from SOCO Ltd. Taiwan.

CONSIGNMENT AGENCY

We are handling all secondary tubular products from Tata Steel in Kolkata as a consignment agent. We transport the goods from Jamshedpur to stock them closer to customer hubs in Kolkata, process the secondary tubes as per client orders and arrange them in lots, size wise, for sale by e-auction and onward dispatch to customers in Ghusuri, Howrah.

We have 1 lac sft covered area in the heart of Kolkata for warehousing. The area is available on a periodic basis depending on the tenure of the current license. Our current licensees are Future Retail India Ltd., Bengal Motors Pvt. Ltd. and Radharani Natural Marbles Pvt. Ltd.
